Monthly Collegiate Recruitment Service Cancellation Policy

One Pro Sports Management (OPSM) provides a 12-month (6 months for “Transfer” clients) recruitment service agreement. By enrolling in the OPSM Recruitment Service, clients agree to the following terms regarding cancellation and commitment obligations.

1. Cancellation before Institutional Commitment

Clients may request to cancel their monthly subscription at any time during the 12-month term, provided they have not yet committed to a collegiate institution.

  • Notice Period: A formal written notice of cancellation is required.
  • Effective Date: Cancellation will take effect exactly 30 days from the date the written notice is received.
  • Financial Obligation: The client remains responsible for all scheduled payments occurring within the 30-day notice period.

2. Commitment-Based Obligations

Once a client has committed to a collegiate institution while active in the OPSM Recruitment Service, the remaining balance of the initial 12-month agreement becomes due. The client may fulfill this obligation through one of two methods:

  • Standard Installments: Continue with the monthly payment schedule as outlined during initial registration until the 12-month balance is cleared.
  • Accelerated Settlement: Opt for a one-time buyout payment totaling 80% of the remaining agreement balance, payable immediately upon commitment.

3. Procedure for Notice

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations or those made through social media channels will not be recognized as formal notice.

Annual Collegiate Recruitment Service Cancellation Policy

The OPSM Annual Collegiate Recruitment Service is a premium, comprehensive program with a one-time enrollment fee. This fee covers the full 12-month recruitment cycle and associated management resources.

1. Commitment and Non-Refundability

The primary objective of this service is the successful placement of the athlete in a collegiate institution.

  • Successful Commitment: If a client secures a commitment to a school at any point while active in the OPSM Recruitment Service, the program is considered successfully fulfilled. Under these circumstances, the cardholder is not eligible for a refund, as the primary service goal has been achieved.

2. Voluntary Termination and Refund Eligibility

In the event a client remains uncommitted and chooses to terminate the agreement—whether due to a change in personal circumstances or dissatisfaction with the service—the following refund protocol applies:

  • Termination Refund: A refund totaling 50% of the remaining pro-rated value of the service will be issued, calculated from the end of the mandatory notice period.
  • Calculation Date: The refund amount is determined based on the balance of the service term remaining at the time the cancellation becomes effective.

3. Cancellation Procedure

To initiate a termination of service, clients must adhere to the following:

  • Written Notice: A formal written statement of intent to cancel must be submitted via email to [email protected].
  • Notice Period: A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for all cancellations. The agreement remains active, and the 30-day period is billable/deductible during this timeframe.
